RISMEDIA, June 9, 2009-Halstead Property announced that 160 real estate brokers in Fairfield County, Connecticut have joined their firm under a newly formed entity, Halstead Connecticut, LLC. These agents were formerly with Country Living Associates, and the five new offices will be under the banner of Halstead Property Country Living. Halstead Property will now have 215 agents working in six Fairfield County towns and company-wide, a total of 18 offices in three states with more than 900 agents.
“Halstead Property is constantly looking for smart growth opportunities and this is one that fits our needs exactly. We have made a major commitment to the suburban marketplace and look forward to doing a substantial amount of business in the area,” said Diane M. Ramirez, president of Halstead Property.
The five new offices will be located at: Two Sound View Drive in Greenwich; The High Ridge Center at 1099 High Ridge Road in Stamford; 183 Elm Street in New Canaan; 616 Post Road East in Westport; and 21 River Road in Wilton. The Halstead Property Country Living offices will be managed by seasoned real estate agents Sharon Daley Maasdorp, CRB, ASP and John DiCenzo.
“Halstead Property Country Living will offer clients something that was seriously lacking in the suburban community-the opportunity to market properties powerfully and effectively to a wider range of potential buyers. There is a huge amount of buyers and sellers transitioning from the city to the suburbs and it is a natural fit for our two firms to join forces. With the powerful brand name of Halstead and their incredible resources, we will be able to offer both our sellers and buyers a better level of service,” explained Sharon Daley Maasdorp, executive director of Sales, New Canaan of Halstead Property Country Living.
