Oppler has served in every capacity at the Board and State levels—having served as President of the Eastern Bergen County Board of Realtors in 1996, their Realtor of the Year in 1997, President of the New Jersey Association of Realtors in 2004 in addition to serving as NAR Region 2 (NY, NJ and Pennsylvania) Vice President in 2005. He chaired NAR’s RPAC Committee in 2009 and is currently chairing RPCC (Realtor Political Coordinating Committee).
