RISMEDIA, October 6, 2010—CALIFORNIA REALTOR® EXPO 2010, the state’s largest real estate trade show, opened yesterday at 5 p.m. at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif. Running Oct. 5-7, California Realtor Expo 2010 features more than 50 cutting-edge seminars, hot new products, and networking opportunities for California Realtors. California Realtor Expo 2010 also offers more than 200 exhibit booths and is expected to attract more than 7,000 attendees.
California Realtor Expo 2010 has several new and innovative additions, the organization stated, including Mobile Jolt! Workshops, where attendees can participate in interactive workshops while learning how a Smartphone can better serve their business needs.
Also new to California Realtor Expo 2010 are session tracks, designed to help attendees find the sessions most meaningful to them. Attendees can choose to follow one of the four session tracks – Sales; REOs, short sales, and foreclosures; Risk Management; and Innovations and Trends – or select sessions a la carte.

Exhibit Hall
The exhibit hall for California Realtor Expo 2010 will be open 5 – 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 5; 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 6; and 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 7. All exhibitors will be on-hand ready to showcase their newest products and services for the real estate industry. At the C.A.R. booth (#531), Realtors can enter a prize drawing for an iPod touch. Throughout Expo 2010, attendees also can participate in games and enter drawings for iPads, laptops, and other prizes.

“2011 Housing Market Forecast Luncheon”

Prepare for the year ahead with C.A.R. Vice President and Chief Economist Leslie Appleton-Young as she presents the Association’s 2011 Housing Market Forecast. Appleton-Young will share valuable information and insight about next year’s California housing market, including projected home sales, median prices, housing affordability, and mortgage rates and availability.
