RISMEDIA, October 11, 2010—Realogy Corporation, one of the largest providers of real estate and relocation services in the United States, has announced that LeadRouterSM, its proprietary online lead management system, has surpassed 10 million leads distributed directly to brokers and sales associates affiliated with its real estate franchise brands — Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate, CENTURY 21®, Coldwell Banker®, Coldwell Banker Commercial®, ERA®, Sotheby’s International Realty® — and NRT LLC, its company-owned brokerage operations.
Now in its sixth full year as the platform of choice for Realogy’s residential and commercial brand networks, the LeadRouter lead management system was launched in November 2004 as the first software-based system of its kind. It has processed and delivered an increasing number of leads in each successive year of operation, including 2.3 million leads in 2009.
According to the company, LeadRouter captures leads from homebuyers and sellers via online and traditional sources and converts the data into a voice message that is instantly sent to agents’ cell phones, enabling sales associates to respond to consumers within minutes of receiving the request. The system is flexible enough to allow each local broker/owner to establish their own business rules for routing the incoming leads to their respective agents. Available only to Realogy-affiliated brokers and agents, the LeadRouter software system provides office managers, agents and administrators with tools for managing customer leads from all sources, not just the Internet.
“LeadRouter has proven itself to be one of the most powerful tools our brokers have to measure their marketing return-on-investment,” said Alex Perriello, president and CEO of the Realogy Franchise Group. “The software enables brokers to do side-by-side comparisons of lead volume and conversions to closed sales for every category of marketing as well as for individual websites. Agents use LeadRouter to generate customized action plans to assist them in their follow up based on the customer profiles they enter into the system, a feature that has been extremely well received.”
As part of its listing distribution strategy, Realogy has continued to expand the number of online lead sources where it uploads its brokers’ property listings. Currently, Realogy brand listings are distributed daily across more than 20,000 websites in addition to the brand and brokers’ own sites. These listing distribution partner sites include some of the most well-trafficked sites in the world, such as Google, Yahoo, Zillow, Trulia, FrontDoor and Realtor.com.
In addition, the Realogy Franchise group has committed more than $1 million during the next year for technical enhancements to the LeadRouter system, all of which are intended to increase the system’s speed, performance and capacity to handle the growing volume of leads that it processes and distributes to brokers and agents. The enhancements also will include a redesign of the LeadRouter user interface to incorporate feedback from brokers and agents for improved workflow and efficiency.
