RISMEDIA, February 25, 2011–The Northeast Georgia Board of REALTORS® has selected Faron Winslow King as their 2010 REALTOR® of the Year. King, a former Broker/Owner of his own firm, recently became a part of Coldwell Banker High Country Realty through a merger. He is currently serving as the Board’s President, and also serves in several capacities within the Towns County Chamber of Commerce.
In 2010, King was selected to participate in the Georgia Association of REALTORS® Leadership Program. His completion of the program was recognized at the Association’s Inaugural Convention in February. King also accepted a GAR Presidential Appointment to serve on the Presidential Advisory Group (PAG) focused on the Association’s Visioning Initiative.
“I cannot think of a more deserving candidate for this honor,” said June Slusser, president of Coldwell Banker High Country Realty. “Faron’s vision, energy and commitment to the REALTOR® organization are exemplary!”
This is the third year in a row that the REALTOR® of the Year selection has been a member of Coldwell Banker High Country Realty. The 2009 recipient Austin Lansing and the 2008 recipient June Slusser both served the local Board and the State Association in many capacities.
