RISMEDIA, November 8, 2011–John Hausam, Terry Gartside, and Sam Rader have announced that effective November 8, 2011, ERA John Hausam, REALTORS® has joined forces with Coldwell Banker Select and will operate under the Coldwell Banker Brand.
This merger will create the largest real estate company in the region and the 50th largest real estate company in the United States.
John Hausam, REALTORS® was founded in 1968 and is led by current President, John L. Hausam. This merger is the combination of two market leaders in the Tulsa area that will account for roughly one of every four properties sold in the metro area. The merger will also allow both companies to provide cutting edge strategies with a market presence unmatched by any other company.
Hausam says, “I as well as our staff and associates are very excited about Coldwell Banker and ERA John Hausam Realtors coming together. Our culture and passion for the Real Estate business will help create the strongest, most versatile real estate companies in the Tulsa area.”
“I have a long time respect for both John and John L. Hausam. They have a rich history of service to the Oklahoma real estate industry,” says Sam Rader, Chairman of Coldwell Banker Select. “It is a great pleasure to be associated with a company of such stature.”
Hausam will remain with Coldwell Banker Select and serve as their Vice-president overseeing much of the operational aspects of the former ERA offices in Tulsa and Tahlequah.
“I look forward to the expansion and working with John and the sales people of ERA John Hausam REALTORS®. Our approaches to the real estate industry are very similar and this will create a very dynamic group of real estate agents to serve the home buyers and sellers in our market,” says Pete Galbraith, President of Sales, Coldwell Banker Select.
The merger will be a seamless transfer without any cessation in marketing and yard signs will be changed out over the next few weeks. Once the merger is complete, Coldwell Banker Select will have offices in Tulsa, Sapulpa, Jenks, Broken Arrow, Tahlequah, Sand Springs, Claremore, Owasso, Skiatook, Coweta, Oolagah and Bristow.
