Prudential Real Estate, a Brookfield Residential Property Services company, recently announced that Prudential Homesale Services Group has expanded into the Maryland market by partnering with Baltimore-based Yerman Witman Gaines & Conklin (YWGC) Realty. The new company will operate as Prudential Homesale YWGC Realty in Maryland, with YWGC founders Michael Yerman, Marc Witman, Brandon Gaines, Cindy Conklin and Bob Merbler remaining as partners, the company announced.
“We are thrilled to add YWGC Realty to our family,” says Rick Doyle, president of Homesale Services’ Realty Division. “The company has been the fastest-growing residential real estate company in greater Baltimore over the past few years and is well respected for expertise and service. They are a great fit.”
Prudential Homesale YWGC Realty, a full-service real estate brokerage, operates five offices with 164 agents. It represents the eighth expansion by Prudential Homesale Services Group since 2009 and one of its largest.
“Our strategy through the real estate downturn has been to grow our market share and territory,” says Doug Rebert, Managing Director for Prudential Homesale Services. “We’ve been highly selective, adding high-quality companies in markets with great long-term potential.”
Prior to this expansion, Prudential Homesale Services Group operated 21 offices with 949 Agents in nine counties in south central and southeastern Pennsylvania. The company and its Mortgage, Title and Insurance Divisions employ 227 staff members. The Prudential Homesale Services Group ownership and trade names will remain the same in Pennsylvania.
