RISMEDIA, July 10, 2012–Family-owned and operated brokerage Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty announced today that it has agreed to acquire three of Prudential Serl’s Prime Properties Orange County, N.Y. real estate offices, building upon Rand’s strong presence in the Orange County real estate market.
Two of the acquired offices will combine with Rand’s existing Central Valley and Warwick offices, while the New Windsor office located at 819 Little Britain Road, Suite 3 will become Rand’s newest location in Orange County.
“We are delighted to continue to provide Orange County with the rich service experience they have grown accustomed to from Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty,” said Matt Rand, Managing Partner at Rand Realty. “This acquisition will help to further cement Rand Realty as the largest real estate company in Orange.” With the acquisition, Rand now owns 29.6% of the real estate volume in Orange County with some areas like Warwick approaching 50% market share.
As part of the agreement, Serls Prime Properties will be acquiring three of Rand Realty’s Dutchess County, N.Y. offices.
