RISMEDIA, January 8, 2013–From November to the end of December, Century 21 Affiliated raised $5,000 as a company for Easter Seals along with donating 137 Twin Size Sheets to Easter Seals Camp Waubeek in Wisconsin Dells.
Jeff Simon, who is affiliated with Century 21 Affiliated, climbed two volcanoes in Mexico for Easter Seals from November 23-December 1. Simon said, “I’m excited to be doing something that I enjoy while making a difference in other people’s lives.”
Simon joined a group from CENTURY 21 to do the Climb For Kids to benefit Easter Seals. They climbed the Mexican volcanoes El Pico de Orizaba, North America’s third highest mountain at 18,880 feet, and Iztaccihuatl, North America’s seventh highest mountain at 17,887 feet.
Easter Seals has been helping individuals with disabilities and special needs, and their families, live better lives for nearly 90 years. From child development centers to physical rehabilitation and job training for people with disabilities, Easter Seals offers a variety of services to help people with disabilities address life’s challenges and achieve personal goals.
Also, at the company’s Team Leader/Staff retreat in Wisconsin Dells this past November, it was announced that Century 21 Affiliated were going to donate as many as 100 twin size sheets to Camp Waubeek in Wisconsin Dells. The camp was in need of as many twin size sheets to replace the older, worn out ones they currently had. The company collected the sheets at each Holiday Road Show in December and were able to surpass their goal and collect 137! They will be presenting the sheets to Easter Seals on January 22, 2013.
