Sindeo, a modern mortgage marketplace that helps people plan and shop for the right home loan in a more timely, competitive and transparent way, has announced the latest members to join its management team. Sindeo’s expanded leadership team includes top talent from Trulia, SoFi, Prosper Marketplace and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), each with a proven track record of innovation in real estate or FinTech.
“Nearly every part of the real estate process has been transformed by technology except for home financing. Getting a mortgage is still manual, frustrating and confusing,” says Nick Stamos, CEO and Founder of Sindeo. “We’ve assembled a talented team to accelerate Sindeo’s growth and bring greater efficiency, transparency and choice to the mortgage process.”
Sindeo provides open access to information so people can research, shop, qualify and close their loan, all in one place. Sindeo uses technology to streamline the mortgage process, connect people with the right lenders and improve the level of service for consumers and their agents. Unlike banks or brokers, Sindeo’s full-service, local mortgage advisors are paid on customer satisfaction rather than a variable commission, ensuring clients get amazing service and expert advice without added cost.
“The mortgage process doesn’t have to be difficult,” says Stamos. “We help people at every stage of their home search so they can make smart decisions with their current and future financial goals in mind. With this experienced leadership team, we’re building the modern mortgage marketplace to better serve consumers, real estate pros and mortgage professionals.”
Jobe Danganan joins Sindeo as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer from the CFPB, where he was most recently Enforcement Attorney-Advisor, and before that was Senior Investigative Counsel at the U.S. Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission. Danganan has dedicated his career to informing and protecting consumers during financial transactions and will focus on making the mortgage process simpler and more transparent at Sindeo.
Recognizing the importance of real estate pros in the home buying process, Sindeo adds Ginger Wilcox as Chief Industry Officer. Wilcox is focused on building products and services to help strategic partners in real estate and financial services better serve their customers. Prior to joining Sindeo, Wilcox led Trulia’s industry marketing organization, where she built and grew Trulia’s channel marketing and partnership programs.
Brad Lensing joins Sindeo as Chief Marketing Officer. In his role, Lensing will focus on engaging with consumers to raise the awareness of new and better ways to finance a home. Prior to joining Sindeo, he served as Chief Marketing Officer at Prosper Marketplace, a peer-to-peer lending marketplace connecting borrowers and lenders that has funded over $2 billion in loans.
Andy Carra has been named Chief Technology Officer. Known for his career at disruptive FinTech companies, Carra was previously Co-Founder at SoFi and Chief Technology Officer at LearnVest. Carra joins Senior Vice President of Product Chris Conway, who also joined from Trulia earlier this year.
Since the company’s founding in 2013, Sindeo has grown its San Francisco operations to more than 35 employees. Stamos, along with Co-Founder, Ori Zohar, started the company to revolutionize the way people plan, shop and secure a mortgage.
