The submission period for the top-performing Latino agents and mortgage originators across the U.S. is set to close on April 29. The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) Top 250 Latino Agent and Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originator lists are published annually and highlight the most successful Latino practitioners in their respective category. The organization reports a 50 percent increase in the number of submissions to date.
“Real estate agents and mortgage originators do most of the heavy lifting in our community when it comes to making the dream of homeownership a reality,” says Gary Acosta, NAHREP co-founder and CEO, “NAHREP’s 2015 State of Hispanic Homeownership Report showed a strong spike in Latino homeownership and those recognized on the NAHREP Top 250 are primary drivers of these gains.”
The Top 250 Latino lists are split into categories of real estate and mortgage origination. In addition to ranking the top agents and originators by transactions, this year’s edition of both reports will feature expanded mention of other noteworthy categories.
The real estate report will highlight several key areas including:
- Top 250 Latino agents by transactions and by volume
- Top 100 Latino agents by gross commission income
- Top 25 Latino agents by transaction and volume
- Top Latino agent producing regions in the U.S.
The mortgage origination report will feature:
- Top 250 Latino mortgage originators by transactions and by volume
All 2016 Top 250 honorees will be recognized at the 2016 NAHREP National Convention & Latin Music Festival, taking place at the JW Marriott at LA Live in Los Angeles on September 18-20, 2016.
