RELO Direct® has hired Hirsch Serman, MBA, CPA to serve as senior vice president, client finance. Serman will also be a member of the relocation management and consulting company’s senior management team.
In the role of senior vice president, client finance, Serman is the executive leader of the client finance and accounting department and is responsible for all aspects of RELO Direct’s client finance deliverables. In addition, as part of the senior management team, Serman will not only lead the client finance operations, but help shape the overall growth and management strategy of RELO Direct®.
Serman has extensive executive experience both inside and outside the mobility arena, with relocation experience dating back to 1997. Serman has held executive tax and expenses management positions with one of the industry’s largest relocation management companies and has worked as an auditor at one of the “Big 4” accountings firms. In addition, he is a frequent presenter at industry conferences and was a guest lecturer at Cleveland State University and University of Memphis on the subjects of leadership, management, and non-profit administration. Serman has earned an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Serman also has significant experience as an entrepreneur, having launched two successful start-ups.
