Realty ONE Group recently set a Guinness World Records™ title during its annual ONE Summit in Las Vegas, creating the largest word out of dice. The record to beat was 2,000 dice, but Realty ONE Group professionals attending the conference smashed the record, assembling 11,111 gold dice—symbolic of the company’s use of “one”—in the exact shape of the company’s logo.
“Our real estate professionals joined this company because of our untraditional approach to everything,” says Kuba Jewgieniew, founder and CEO of Realty ONE Group, “and our events are no different. We went them to learn and network and celebrate their successes, but we also want them to be a part of something memorable and historic and yet one more thing that sets us apart from the rest of the industry.”
It took more than 100 hours of diagraming and planning and multiple trial runs for the Realty ONE Group team to create the platform and model that would eventually become the ONE logo and set the Guinness World Records title.
“It was a tremendous team effort by our staff and eventually all of our attendees and the result is remarkable,” says Jewgieniew.
An official Guinness World Records adjudicator was on hand to verify that the record was officially set on Monday, March 26, the first day of the three-day event that was held at the MGM Grand Resort & Casino.
The gold dice were all placed with the one facing up, and were glued down to a wood platform base. The final gold dice ONE logo on its platform is 13.5 by 4.5 feet. It will hang proudly in Realty ONE Group’s new corporate office, The Hub, in Laguna Niguel, Calif., which is scheduled to open on May 1.
