Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. Expands Its National Franchise Footprint With Q1 Growth

Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. continued to increase its U.S. market presence with new office signings across the country during the first quarter of 2019. The Southeast region accounted for the majority of new offices, with nearly half located in Florida and North Carolina.

Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. also continued to grow its footprint in the West with the addition of its eighth affiliate office in Washington State. The national franchise network also added new offices in New York and Ohio last quarter.

“It’s great to see independent brokerages across the country continue to turn to the Weichert brand to help capture a larger share of their local real estate market,” says Bill Scavone, president and chief operating officer of Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. “The personal support and proven operating and management systems we can provide new affiliates to help them grow their business continues to help drive our growth nationally.”

As a result of the increased popularity of the brand and the resources it provides its affiliates, the Weichert franchise model has become more attractive to independent brokerages across the country. One such agency is Weichert, Realtors® – Lilac Properties in Rochester, N.Y., which joined the national franchise network this month.

“In our conversations, I could tell how genuine and passionate everyone at Weichert was about franchising,” says the company’s broker/owner, Curt Amesbury. “They’ve ‘been there and done that’ with all things real estate and know what works best.”

Amesbury adds, “We’re extremely excited to take advantage of all the resources and support that Weichert provides to help our agents achieve individual success while growing our office’s local marketshare.”

As a result of the continued growth and success of the Weichert franchise network, it was named one of America’s “Top 500 Franchises” by Entrepreneur magazine in 2019, and was included in the “2019 Best of the Best: Top 200 Franchises” by Franchise Business Review,  which is based on franchisee satisfaction.

Weichert currently has affiliate offices serving over 350 markets in 38 states, representing smart entrepreneurs who were interested in joining a nationally recognized brand which offers incomparable tools, training and marketing techniques to set them apart from the competition. Each Weichert affiliated office is independently-owned and -operated.
