Willis Allen Real Estate, a leading luxury real estate brokerage in the San Diego area, has named Zane Burnett as their chief digital officer. In this role, Burnett will drive digital growth and strategy for the company, to further drive Willis Allen’s position as leaders in the San Diego market since 1914. Burnett will begin his new role on September 1.
Prior to joining Willis Allen, he was vice president of Digital Innovation and Technology for Alain Pinel Realtors®, where he directed the technology team and developed strategic partnerships with leading digital innovators. Burnett began his career at Fillmore Real Estate, where he served as vice president of Marketing for New York City’s largest independent brokerage at that time. Burnett comes to Willis Allen from a boutique real estate digital consulting firm, where he will remain an active principal.
“We’re thrilled to have Zane be a part of the Willis Allen team. His track record in the real estate industry is unparalleled, and we are excited about the impact he is going to have to our company’s continued success in the San Diego market,” says Willis Allen CEO Andrew E. Nelson.
Willis Allen Real Estate’s expertise in the San Diego market dates back to 1914. Since selling their first home more than a century ago, the luxury brokerage has grown to become a leader in the San Diego area. As a locally-owned company, Willis Allen offers its clients the highest level of service through attractive and modern marketing programs and industry leading technology.
“I’m excited to be part of the Willis Allen team,” says Burnett. “They have an unyielding desire to innovate and try new things, which isn’t a sentiment as widespread as one might think in this industry. We have a lot of things planned that I’m confident will resonate on the national level.”
This summer, Willis Allen launched its newest digital platform, “WAREhouse,” to provide its 150-plus agents with technology to increase their productivity. WAREhouse allows for the integrated bundling of market-leading applications to allow agents to have improved access to data to market properties and to provide the highest level of service to homebuyers and sellers.
Burnett serves as an advisory board member for Rutgers University’s Big Data program and has independently consulted with several Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® brokerages. In addition, he has worked exclusively with independent brokerages in marketing, technology and strategy for the last 12 years.
