Agent Meredith Schlosser, who specializes in the sale and purchase of homes in Silicon Beach and the Westside, has recently announced her affiliation with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties, moving from the Sally Forster Jones group with Compass.
Since relocating from her native New York City in 2011, Schlosser has made the Los Angeles coastal real estate market her own. She has sold a total of $400 million in nine years.
“Buying or selling a home is one of those big life-stressors,” Schlosser said. “You want to go through that journey with someone you like and know has your best interests at heart. I take that stress away by being with my clients every step of the way and fighting for them to get the price they deserve, or their offer accepted.
“My goal, first and foremost, is the relationship. It’s not about just one transaction. It’s about the big picture and being there for my clients to give my honest opinion—and even being there to turn them away if the deal isn’t right. I’m addicted to the process. I love being the one to deliver the good news,” said Schlosser. It’s so fulfilling to know that I can make a difference both personally and financially in someone’s life and help bring people closer to their goals.”
With over 120 five-star reviews on Zillow, Schlosser and her team have developed a real estate portfolio that includes over $55 million in sales for 2020. They join the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices ranking Chairman’s Circle Diamond, an award designation representing the top one-half of 1 percent of over 50,000 agents nationwide and abroad. Joining Schlosser in her transition are her team members: Amanda Fox, Alex Branzburg, Jeremy Hensley and Scott Son.
“From the first time I visited with Meredith, I knew we would be the perfect fit for her to achieve even greater success,” said Mary Lee Blaylock, president and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties. “She is smart, determined, extremely capable, and I could not be more impressed with her drive and charisma. I am certain every client she represents has an exceptional experience and we are thrilled she has chosen to partner with us, as she expands her personal business. Welcome to our Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties family, Meredith!”
“I have admired Meredith’s drive, tenacity and professionalism for years, and once she discovered the true depth, strength and culture of our iconic Brentwood office, we knew we were a perfect match,” Branch Manager Tim Swan said. “I’m thrilled she has joined our very established team of agents, who truly love practicing real estate, and the incredible support staff we have who cares deeply that our agents succeed. Meredith is a powerhouse, and I look forward to being a very supportive component in her and her amazing team’s success for many years to come.”
Schlosser is involved in a number of charities and donates a portion of her commissions to the Susan G. Komen breast cancer foundation (her grandmother is a survivor), the Michael J. Fox Foundation (her grandfather, her “idol,” died from the disease), Dr. Mitch Seruya’s Peripheral Nerve Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and the dog-rescue charity Jac2therescue.
