Weichert Real Estate Affiliates held its national conference, the Weichert Sellebration, at the Park MGM in Las Vegas last week. The in-person event exceeded attendance expectations, with over 600 attendees traveling to participate from over 360 offices across the country.
The 2021 Weichert Sellebration, held on Oct. 19-21, marked the first national gathering of Weichert-affiliated brokers, owners, managers and agents since 2018.
“We are extremely grateful to everyone who joined us and made this gathering truly special,” said Bill Scavone, president and chief operating officer of Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc., in a statement. “We had many great presentations throughout the event with stellar insights to help our attendees achieve real estate success and professional growth.”
Speakers at the convention included industry experts such as David Knox, an international real estate trainer, Brian Icenhower, CEO and founder of Icenhower Coaching and Consulting, and Michele Church, the regional vice president of Weichert, REALTORS®. The general session also included a pre-recorded video from Lawrence Yun, chief economist for the National Association of REALTORS®.
In addition, Weichert welcomed motivational speakers Valorie Burton, a life coach, author and entrepreneur, as well as Ben Nemtin, a producer, writer, speaker and TV Personality.
“The mantra we stressed throughout the event—and one that our presenters did a great job reinforcing—was the importance of full service and delivering an exceptional customer experience. And that means no shortcuts,” said Scavone. “Those who achieve great success are the ones who fight through adversity and never take the easier path. It was great to see our attendees truly embrace that mentality at our Sellebration.”
“One of the most important aspects of our event is the opportunity for attendees to share knowledge and insights with each other, which is one of the hallmarks of our Weichert culture,”added Scavone. “They showed great willingness to share ideas throughout the three days and also stayed highly engaged during the break-out learning sessions.”
