HomeSmart International recently announced the rapidly growing franchise organization has added 23 franchises year-to-date, with two new states coming on board with the nationwide company before the end of the year. This recent expansion represents a 14 percent year-over-year growth in franchised offices under the HomeSmart brand, bringing the company’s office count to nearly 100 with 11,000+ agents in 17 states. Over the course of the last five years, HomeSmart’s agent count has also grown by an astounding 156 percent.
The newest HomeSmart franchises include locations in:
Casa Grande, Ariz.; Chandler, Ariz.; Chino Valley, Ariz.; Show Low, Ariz.; Glendale, Calif.; Rancho Bernardo, Calif.; Salinas, Calif.; San Bernadino, Calif.; San Francisco, Calif.; Orlando, Fla., Chicago, Ill.; Naperville, Ill.; Carmel, Ind.; Speedway, Ind.; Las Vegas, Nev.; Queens, N.Y.; Long Island, N.Y.; Cleveland, Ohio; Exton, Pa; Philadelphia, Pa; Bellevue, Wash.; Bellingham, Wash.; and Vancouver, Wash.
“Our growth is indicative of trends in the industry,” says Matt Widdows, founder and chief executive officer. “Brokers are tired of the same old model where they’re either overpaying for lackluster services or are left out on their own to come up with solutions and technologies. That’s where HomeSmart is different, and people are taking notice.”
Since its inception in 2000, HomeSmart has prided itself on continually revolutionizing the brokerage business by providing cutting-edge systems, technologies and platforms which are built and sustained in-house by Widdows’ own technology company. Additionally, just 18 months ago, HomeSmart launched a Centralized Services division which stands apart from the services any other franchisor offers in the industry today by partnering with the franchisee to market to target audiences, generate interest, pre-screen agents and set and conduct recruiting appointments to hire new agents. This service enables the broker to focus on other important activities like supporting existing agents while also maintaining upward growth trends. To-date, more than 500 agents have joined HomeSmart franchises as a result of the program. Beyond recruiting, HomeSmart brokers can also leverage Centralized Services for retention, agent support and even virtual reception offerings.
“I believe our strong franchise support, proprietary technology systems and centralized services programs position HomeSmart International as an innovative and value-added brokerage offering where franchisees have access to an unprecedented partnership without breaking the bank,” says Bryan Brooks, HomeSmart International senior vice president of franchise sales. “We provide the best service and value when it comes to real estate franchising, and we’re on a trajectory which isn’t going to slow down as we round out this year and head into 2017.”
Across the franchise system, HomeSmart brokerages are seeing record-breaking trends with several brokers growing from start-up to 100+ agents in just a few years. Three HomeSmart franchises are also amongst the nation’s top brokerages, including HomeSmart Phoenix/Palm Springs/Denver, HomeSmart Evergreen Realty in Orange County, Calif., and HomeSmart Realty West in San Diego, Calif.
