The Weichert Family of Companies has begun the 38th Annual Weichert Toy Drive, the company recently announced. Members of the community are invited to drop off new, unwrapped toys at the company’s sales offices through Friday, December 9. The toys will be delivered throughout the holidays in conjunction with local charities that assist financially and physically disadvantaged children.
“As we prepare for the holiday season, it is our goal as a company to remember those families and children who are less fortunate, and to do our part to help bring the holiday spirit to them,” says Jim Weichert, president, chairman and CEO of Weichert, Realtors. “We invite you to join Weichert’s efforts as we help serve the communities where we do business by bringing holiday cheer to families who need it most.”
Weichert employees at the company’s corporate headquarters, as well as in other company locations throughout the U.S., will also participate in the yearly community service event.
To date, the annual toy drive has yielded hundreds of thousands of items for underprivileged children in the communities Weichert serves. Last year, more than 16,500 new toys were distributed to charitable and service organizations for families and children in need.
