Halstead Property Chairman and CEO Diane Ramirez was honored as one of City & State’s 2016 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Responsible 100, representing 100 leaders in social responsibility in New York, the company recently announced.
“I am grateful to be selected by City & State for this prestigious distinction,” says Ramirez. “One of our greatest responsibilities in life is to give back, and this drives me greatly in business and my personal life. I’m privileged and proud to do so on both levels and believe that it is essential to operate with an unwavering commitment to the communities in which we live and work.”
In addition to the Responsible 100, Ramirez has received REBNY’s Henry Forster Award and Kenneth R. Gerrety Humanitarian Award in recognition of her philanthropic efforts. She and her husband, Sam, are longstanding supporters of many organizations, including the Valerie Fund and LSA Family Health Service. She was honored as a Responsible 100 on December 15 at Hebrew Union College.
