Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage has opened a new office in Calabash, N.C., its 13th office in Southeastern North Carolina, the company recently announced. At the Calabash office, Managing Broker Jennifer Brown—also managing broker of the company’s Holden Beach and Shallotte offices—oversees 11 agents and one full-time administrator.
“We have an ideal location on Route 179 in Calabash and we are right next to the busiest intersection in town,” says Brown. “This is a very high traffic area and we anticipate a lot of walk-ins, which is unusual in these days of online marketing, but the Calabash market is different. Buyers and sellers here want to work with someone local and they want to interact directly with their agent. Most of our agents live here and are within five minutes of the office—and most are already doing business here, so the Calabash office was a natural expansion for us.”
