Weichert, Realtors announced the first-phase launch of the redesign of Weichert.com. With a fresh homepage, new search capabilities and engaging property detail pages, this initial release is the first of several planned to roll out in the coming months. With more than half of current traffic to Weichert.com coming from mobile devices, the redesign takes a mobile-first approach for consumers on the go.
“Weichert is passionate about ensuring our customers have the best digital experience possible,” says James Weichert Jr., vice chairman of Weichert Companies. “The redesign of Weichert.com features simpler navigation and new page layouts that are easier to read. In addition, the property listings now provide a higher level of personalization – something customers want when searching for information online. Weichert is dedicated to catering to our customers’ needs, and this redesign is yet another way we are meeting that goal.”
According to the 2018 National Association of REALTORS® Home Buyer and Seller Generational Trends Report, 95 percent of all homebuyers use online websites during their home search process. The Weichert.com redesign features several key components to make that process easy, fun and informative:
- Weichert.com’s new home page offers simpler navigation for users to easily find what they are looking for, plus intuitive new search capabilities for homes, rentals, sales associates and offices. Property listings are immediately displayed with more personalization, including relevance to a user’s location, with an additional focus on open houses and recently listed properties.
- The new search results page now offers the ability to swipe through property photos without leaving the page. New and updated maps more clearly display property locations and nearby listings, and easy-to-use filters allow users to apply both basic and lifestyle needs such as waterfront, park view, balcony, doorman, roof deck and more to their home searches.
- New property detail pages on Weichert.com feature page layouts that make it easier to read and find information. Updated forms and interactive calculators allow users to better understand affordability and request more information from a Weichert sales associate.
Additional updates to Weichert.com will begin rolling out in 2019 with a continued focus on the digital experience for users.
