Each year, we catch a glimpse into the latest home trends, styles and technology at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show. The best brands in the business recently gathered for this year’s event and it certainly did not disappoint, from cutting-edge technology that’s sure to please wine enthusiasts to improved rain shower designs promising the most luxurious experience yet.
Focus on Faucets
Several of the most noteworthy products were aimed at updating the kitchen sink as we know it. Among the most impressive was U by Moen, which can be given voice commands to dispense water in exact amounts or at precise temperatures. Perhaps equally remarkable was an integrated sink and dishwasher combo from Fotile. While that alone is worth getting excited about, it also includes a vegetable and fruit cleaner compartment that removes pesticides.
Purification and Filtration
There was certainly no shortage of air and water purifiers on display, as this remains of high interest to consumers. After all, many of us go to great lengths to ensure that our living space is as healthy as possible for the entire family and today’s best filtration systems play a large role in that. Specifically, Samsung showed up with a sleek, modern looking air purifier that would fit right in to any setting.
Wine Appliances
For those who appreciate a good glass of wine, there were a few products exhibited that you may be interested in. The award-winning “Plum,” a fully-automated wine appliance, was a standout that can preserve opened bottles for up to 90-days while storing them at the ideal temperature and humidity. Additionally, there were stylish new wine refrigerators from several brands that would make the perfect addition to the wine enthusiast’s kitchen.
