RISMEDIA, Jan. 3, 2007-Lynn Amos, vice president and managing broker of the Harry Norman, Realtors Peachtree City Office was namedthe Women's Council of Realtors® (WCR) Realtor® of the Year by the Fayette County Board of Realtors. This is the second year in a row that a Harry Norman, Realtors® associate has received this honor. Deanna Beckwith, a Peachtree City office sales associate, is the reigning Realtor® of the Year.
Amos has more than 16 years experience as an Associate Broker. She is a Certified Residential Specialist and a Phoenix Award winner with the Fayette County Board of Realtors®. An Athens, Georgia native, Amos attended the University of Georgia and Johnson Business School where she received an Associates Degree.
The award comes from the WCR that began in 1924 when the California Real Estate Association formed a Women's Division. In 1938, the president of the National Association of Realtors® encouraged the formation of the Women's council. Today, with more than 280 Chapters and 18,000 members, WCR is the 12th largest U.S. Women's professional organization and has one of the most successful communication networks in the NAR family.
