Morgan Carey

Real Estate Webmasters

As the founder and CEO of Real Estate Webmasters (REW), Morgan Carey’s core responsibility is leading the firm’s cross-functional group of directors and managers, but he also serves as the “chief client” for the R&D team.

In the past year, REW reinvented its MLS technology and integrated it into their newest framework, Discover. “Our IDX technologies are not only competitive with portals like Zillow, Redfin, Trulia and realtor.com®, but they’re next-level with hyperlocalization and hyperspecialization,” says Carey.

After obtaining his degree, Carey became interested in search engine optimization, recognized the need for great websites in the real estate industry, and founded Real Estate Webmasters in 2004. The company grew from a small group working out of Carey’s basement to an award-winning company with 150 employees and five offices. In 2014, Carey appeared on “Dragons’ Den” and was offered, at the time, the single largest business deal in reality television history. He ultimately turned down that offer because it didn’t make the best business sense for REW and its goals at the time. Soon after, REW secured its first partnership with Barbara Corcoran, and the company redoubled its efforts to deliver leading technology to its clients, including virtual reality and augmented reality.

“At REW, our job is to help our customers achieve their dreams in the real estate business,” says Carey. “We don’t just want to help our customers maintain the status quo; we want to see them thrive and grow. We want our clients to be dominant, competitive and in a leading position in terms of technology. At REW, innovation is all about inventing all the new ways for our customers to compete and win.”
