David Charron

David Charron is president of MRIS Investors, Inc. and chairs its Investment Committee. As president, Charron represents the 25 associations of REALTORS® shareholders in overseeing the physical and liquid assets that didn’t convey in the recent formation of Bright MLS, Inc.

As for his greatest accomplishment, Charron was a critical partner in the successful creation of Bright MLS, Inc., which was created from a desire to be the change that real estate professionals demand. Bright is owned by 44 associations of REALTORS®, is broker-governed, and serves over 90,000 agents in six states and the District of Columbia.

Charron most recently served as the chief strategy officer for Bright MLS, which facilitated $91 billion in residential real estate transactions in 2017.

Having played an instrumental role in building Bright MLS into its current leadership position in the marketplace, Charron took on an advisory role within the company earlier this year, allowing him to continue to serve in several senior industry leadership positions, including CMLS Chair, NAR Director and MLS RoundTable Chair.

“Standing still is not an option,” says Charron, who has over 35 years of experience in the industry.

He was the first-ever recipient of the CMLS Peter Shuttleworth MLS Executive Award of Excellence, given to MLS executives who have observed the highest qualities of leadership in their organization, as well as a recipient of the National Homeownership Award from RISMedia.
