In 2017, the key role Detwiler played in Long & Foster’s acquisition by HomeServices of America, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate, ranked as his greatest accomplishment. The year’s top success built on this achievement, in Detwiler and his leadership team’s continual efforts to seamlessly and successfully become part of the HomeServices family, which was done while maintaining the brand, its values and history as Long & Foster. Successfully joining the HomeServices framework while keeping Long & Foster the same great agent-first company it’s always been has been Detwiler’s highest achievement to-date.
