In January 2019, Century 21 Real Estate LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Realogy Holdings Corp., promoted Mike Miedler from chief growth officer to the company’s new president and CEO. Miedler is charged with leading the brand and the organization’s approximately 10,000 independently-owned and -operated offices and more than 131,000 independent sales professionals in 82 countries and territories worldwide. 

Miedler says the investments the company is making to transform the home-buying and -selling journey from transactional to experiential have delivered significant business growth over the past year. In 2019, Century 21 surpassed a milestone of 10,000 affiliated offices worldwide, or a 12.6 percent YOY increase, and garnered a 6.6 percent YOY affiliated agent growth. Thirty-two affiliated brokerages signed long-term renewal agreements, in addition to the onboarding of 14 new companies comprised of over 500 independent agents.

A 20-plus-year veteran with the Century 21 brand, Miedler understands the important role the international markets play in expanding the brand and the system’s growth opportunities. He also recognizes that buying and selling a house can be the most complex transaction a person ever makes, which is why he’s so passionate about helping Century 21’s sales professionals defy mediocrity every day.
