When Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago’s longtime CEO stepped down, the firm chose a new leadership model that is common in tech and fast-moving companies, but unconventional for real estate brokerages. The firm selected a three-person executive leadership team with Diane Glass as COO, Mark Pasquesi as president of brokerage, and Joe Stacy as senior vice president and general sales manager. The rationale was that more people could bring more ideas and more expertise to the table.
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago is one of Chicago’s largest brokerages and one of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’ top 10 U.S. brokerages. Stacy is eager to build on the firm’s robust training and coaching and to help agents expand their personal book of business.
With over 30 years of expertise in residential real estate sales and management, Stacy is a valuable resource for agents. He has successfully managed the Michigan Avenue office in Chicago and the west suburban Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Wheaton and Schaumburg offices.
“We excel at allowing agents to focus on what they do best: work with their clients to achieve their real estate goals. Business planning and coaching programs provide a proven framework of accountability, tracking and measuring that leads to long-term success,” Stacy says.
Stacy leads the brokerage’s Cares Foundation, an agent-supported charity. The group donates more than $125,000 per year to organizations such as the Sunshine Kids, Habitat for Humanity ReStore, the Greater Chicago Food Depository, the Little City Foundation and Feed My Starving Children.
