Gayln Ziegler is director of operations at Keller Offers, an iBuying service launched by Keller Williams in 2019. Keller Offers differs from other iBuying experiences because consumers work with a Keller Williams real estate agent who serves as a fiduciary. The agent advocates for clients and represents their best interests when selling their home.
In August 2019, Keller Offers and Offerpad announced a partnership, enabling Keller Offers to scale to 10 other Offerpad U.S. markets by the end of the year. The arrangement allows customers to work with a Keller Williams agent when they choose Keller Offers powered by Offerpad. The companies also announced an iBuying program for consumers in Birmingham, Ala., with the partnership pivoting to support the mid-tier U.S. market in early 2020.
“We feel very passionately that the consumer needs an advocate in their corner with all the changes going on in the industry right now,” Ziegler says. “Currently, with many instant-offers programs, consumers don’t have the assurance that someone is looking out for their best interests. Ziegler graduated from East Texas Baptist University and worked as a paralegal before beginning her career in real estate. Prior to assuming the role of director of operations for Keller Offers in late 2018, Ziegler worked for Opendoor and Synergy Real Estate.
