Rosey Koberlein

After nearly four decades in real estate, Rosey Koberlein recently passed her CEO role on to Renee Gonzales, and will now serve as chairperson of Long Companies. In this role, Koberlein will focus on strategic planning for the company’s direction and growth, both organically and through acquisitions, and step away from the nuts and bolts of daily operations. 

Long Companies comprises Long Realty Company, Long Mortgage Company, Long Title Agency and Long Insurance Group—all working together to create a full range of real estate services and products. Based in Tucson and founded in 1926, Long Realty Company, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate and wholly owned subsidiary of HomeServices of America, Inc., is the leading real estate brokerage in southern Arizona. The firm has more than 1,200 real estate associates in more than 38 offices, including 24 affiliate realty and property management companies that are independently owned and operated throughout Arizona and into Mexico. Koberlein joined Long Realty Co. in 1991. She moved through a series of branch and senior-management positions before being named general manager in 1998. In 2004 she rose to president and CEO of Long Companies. Every year from 2014 through 2019, Koberlein ranked among the “Most Powerful People in Real Estate.” In 2015, she was Greater Tucson Leadership’s 2015 Woman of the Year. In 2020, Koberlein led Long Realty through the trials of the pandemic and shutdown to success. “The world is in a pandemic, yet we are doing more business than we can possibly ever think of doing,” said Koberlein during RISMedia’s 2020 CEO Exchange. “We realized how important and how resilient our sales associates and employees are.”

In addition to her local commitments, Koberlein frequently speaks at the national level. She is a key instructor for the Leading Real Estate Companies of the WorldⓇ Leadership Training Program, MAESTRO.
