Tessa Hultz

In 2021, Tessa Hultz collaborated with Nassau County legislators to identify properties and areas with racially restrictive covenants for the purpose of removal. She also worked to increase education on fair housing for both members and the public and promoted implicit bias training. In addition, Hultz played an instrumental role in the creation of LIBOR’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, which aims to create a more welcoming and inclusive culture in the real estate community.

Hultz facilitated a new strategic plan for LIBOR that promotes high ethical standards, innovative services, proactive advocacy, education, and protection of private property rights. She also worked to revise LIBOR’s bylaws and policies related to the election and composition of the Board. Her efforts led to the establishment of term limits to provide opportunities for others to serve in leadership roles and to create a more diverse group of leaders within the organization.
