In 2021, Kymber Lovett-Menkiti became the first African American female and one of the youngest individuals to take on the role of divisional leader of Keller Williams Realty. She also heads the Keller Williams National Social Equity Task Force.

Lovett-Menkiti serves on the boards of Crittenton Services and Step Afrika and is executive chair of the board of the CPMG Foundation. Since 2014, the foundation has raised more than $1 million for over 30 regional organizations to support local housing, education, youth and entrepreneurship.

In 2021, the foundation acquired a house in Anacostia, D.C., that it intends to completely renovate and restore using local contractors. The property will be made available to local nonprofits and community groups.

Lovett-Menkiti believes it is important to find strength and courage within oneself. She cited this quote by an anonymous source: “She needed a hero, so that’s who she became.”
