RISMEDIA, Feb. 6, 2008-ListingbookTM, an online service that connects real estate agents and their clients, announced that it has reached an agreement with the Cape Coral (Fla.) Association of Realtors, Inc., further strengthening its presence in Florida and creating a valuable tool for real estate agents and their customers in a struggling housing market.
According to the company, the Cape Coral group has nearly 700 Realtor members; all training on the system is scheduled to begin on Feb. 7. Three nearby MLS groups on Florida’s West Coast signed agreements with Listingbook in 2007.
The Listingbook client-servicing product, says the company, complements any local Realtor® MLS system, allowing secure access to MLS data only when an agent provides a client account for a buyer or seller. The agent is then able to supply reliable, personalized, current market information to clients while guiding and monitoring activity.
Karen Mason, association executive for Cape Coral Association of Realtors, said her organization’s members will realize a quick return on investment. “I think the Listingbook system will be a great productivity tool for our members and will certainly help them with their bottom line,” said Mason.
Jeff Miloff, past president of the Cape Coral Association of Realtors, said Listingbook supports agents working with buyers and sellers. “Agents will be able to instantly build relationships with clients that they might not have otherwise met,” he said. “Buyers can search on their own, but it also gives the agents instant updates on buyer searches. On the seller side it’s a great tool because it allows customers to see on a daily basis other properties that are coming up for sale.”
Miloff, who is also director of sales and operations for Miloff Aubuchon Realty in Cape Coral, said 10 of his members will be trained on the Listingbook product. “Agent training will enable our Realtors to provide more help to buyers and sellers seeking guidance in the housing market,” he said.
James Barry, president of Listingbook, said the relationship with the Cape Coral group gives real estate agents robust tools to provide buyers and sellers with vital insights into the real estate market. “We are pleased that a growing number of MLS organizations in Florida see the value of Listingbook and are making it available to their members,” said Barry. “Listingbook empowers consumers through Realtors and makes the process of buying and selling a home faster, easier and more enjoyable.”
With the Cape Coral signing, Listingbook has now reached agreements with four MLS groups totaling 17,000 agents in Florida over the past year. The other groups are Pinellas Realtor Organization® of Clearwater, Fla.; the Realtor® Association of Greater Fort Myers (Fla.) and The Beach; and West Pasco Board of Realtors of New Port Richey, Fla.
