RISMEDIA, August 4, 2009-The Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. This summer, 13-year-old Marcus from Union County, New Jersey, will have his wish to go to Disney World granted. With the contributions made by Realogy employees, who donated $6,000 from two fundraisers held by the company’s Parsippany-based chapter of the Realogy Charitable Foundation, Marcus will be traveling to Florida with his family to experience his magical wish.
“We are honored to work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey to help Marcus and his family spend precious time together doing something they hold dear,” said Dave Weaving, Realogy’s chief administrative officer and executive sponsor of the company’s F.L.A.G. chapter of the Realogy Charitable Foundation.
“We are fortunate to have such generous and philanthropic corporate leadership in New Jersey,” said Tom Weatherall, Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey president and CEO. “With the support of Realogy Corporation, Marcus will experience a magical trip to Disney. His wish is just one of close to 500 wishes that will be granted in 2009.”
