In 2023, Patrick Bain was named president and CEO of The Long & Foster Companies. He has encouraged members of his team to lean into an all-inclusive business model.

Long & Foster is designed to help clients with everything they might need to buy, sell or own a house, offering an integrated suite of services that includes real estate, mortgage, title, insurance, inspection, moving and property management.

Under Bain’s leadership, Long & Foster introduced the first-of-its-kind Pay at Closing program, which gives clients a home inspection discount and the option to defer the inspection payment until closing. That strategy provides clients with a more seamless and integrated title and inspection process.

Bain is also leading Long & Foster’s drive to promote more in-person connection in a post-pandemic world. That shift prompted the company to create more open and collaborative workspaces and to move its corporate headquarters to a more modern and innovative setting in 2023.

In his previous roles at Long & Foster, Bain played an integral role in driving changes to better serve customers and agents. “Those changes enabled us to deliver tremendous results. Now, we have a greater opportunity to make our already amazing company even better,” says Bain. “We’re taking the first steps – digging deep into our culture, who we are and what we stand for, and working as a team to reimagine Long & Foster.”
