In 2024, James O’Bryon, RE/MAX Gold Nation’s chief executive officer, led the company’s unification throughout six states and redefined the leadership structure to maximize impact and efficiency. Gold Nation was recognized as the world’s No. 1 RE/MAX brokerage in terms of agent population and sales volume and the 14th largest brokerage in the United States by sales volume.

RE/MAX Gold Nation integrated essential services into a horizontal brokerage structure, educated its agents about changes in commission structure, and created an industry-leading agent development platform last year. In addition, the brokerage opened Gold Capital Partners and invited its agents to become owners of the company.

Since 2015, RE/MAX Gold Nation has contributed to the Children’s Miracle Network. In 2024, the company surpassed $2 million in total donations. O’Bryon has fostered an agent-centric environment with a team of servant leaders. He says he is proud of “helping others to achieve their best destinies. Why? Because I have worked for decades to position myself to accomplish this objective and now am in a position to do so.”
