Leading the fourth-largest local REALTOR® association in the nation, Doreen Spagnuolo took a “proactive” approach in 2024 to ensure the association and its members had the right professional and technical support to succeed.
On top of hosting many educational webinars to inform agents about how practices would change under new NAR rules in August 2024, the Long Island Board of REALTORS® (LIBOR) partnered with local legislators to offer free educational sessions for First-Time Homebuyers.
“The real estate market is constantly evolving with new technologies, regulations and market trends. Continuous learning will keep real estate professionals ahead of the curve and prepared for changes,” Spagnuolo said, and she abides by the principle of change beyond just professional tools.
In 2024, Spagnuolo led LIBOR’s “Home for All of Us” fair housing campaign, saying “REALTORS® must be agents of positive change in the housing market, and that is why we are adding to the resources we provide to help them deliver on the fair housing promise.”
