Thad Wong took @properties Christie’s International Real Estate–already one of America’s largest real estate brokerage firms with about 20,000 agents worldwide–and grew it even further during 2024.

The existing @Properties offices in Indianapolis expanded to Evansville, Indiana, while the Texas branch @properties Lonestar Christie’s International Real Estate opened a new branch in Fort Worth. In America, the company expanded to new offices in California, Kentucky, Michigan, New York, South Carolina and more, while internationally it picked up new affiliates in Madrid, Spain, Singapore, Luxembourg, Vietnam, Barbados, Albania, Switzerland and Curaçao.

In December, Wong’s company was acquired by Compass for $444 million, a move that will help the firm expand through technology, marketing and service.

Wong, a frequent speaker at conferences throughout the U.S., said that “The most rewarding part of my career is the ability to work with and shape the next generation of the real estate industry’s leaders. I take great pride in helping people achieve their goals and enjoy their career.”
