Clelia Warburg Peters

Clelia Warburg Peters is the founder and managing partner of Era Ventures, a venture capital firm that she founded in 2022. The firm invests in innovative companies that challenge the status quo and reimagine the physical world.

Last year, Era Ventures closed an initial fund with participation from institutional investors. It was one of the largest funds launched in the PropTech category in 2024, and Peters was the first woman to close an initial fund that size in the PropTech category. Era Ventures also invested or re-invested in several portfolio companies last year.

Peters says, “Two main parts of my career feel most rewarding: the fact that I am a pioneering woman in a male-dominated industry and the opportunity to mentor startup founders and help them grow brilliant ideas into viable business models.”

Peters believes that she has a responsibility to pave the way for more women and other minorities to become involved in the industry and assume leadership roles. She often speaks about diversity at conferences, and she strives to make herself as visible as possible and serve as a role model for other women.
