2024 was a year of milestones for Jamie Mertz, chief operating officer of Virtual Properties Realty, which celebrated its 25th anniversary this past year. The company and its agents showed how they’ve reached that anniversary through “record” growth and sales performance and passing the 5,000 agent milestone.

“Developing some of the best relationships with the agents is one of the best and biggest rewards I have in this career,” says Mertz. “To see them grow personally as well as professionally, and the impact they have on a community and a family, is just incredible to be a part of.

“We see agents who join our industry for so many different reasons, yet all of them with a goal. Watching them work toward that goal, overcome the challenges they might face and see them shine when they are helping individuals realize the dream of homeownership is just incredible,” adds Mertz, stressing how achievement for a real estate leader is not just personal, but also felt through how they inspire the achievements of their team.
