According to RISMedia President & CEO, John Featherston, “Many of the industry’s leading brokers who are coming to the CEO Exchange are coming to discuss what is and—equally as important—what isn’t working within their firms and markets. Our industry and its brokerage owners are confronted with many pressing issues, from the impact of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act to the possibility of fee capping to new competitive business models. We have assembled some of the best real estate operators in the business to address the critical challenges facing today’s brokers. This is a high-level real estate meeting for leading brokers interested in profitably building their business, today and into the future.”
Taking place this Wednesday and Thursday, September 5 & 6, at the prestigious Yale Club in New York City, the CEO Exchange will welcome more than 140 of the most powerful and successful real estate brokerage leaders who hail from franchise brands and independent real estate firms located across the nation. These leaders will come together for this day-and-a-half-long event to exchange ideas and strategies to better meet the needs of today’s sophisticated consumer. At press time, these executives collectively employ 75,000-plus sales associates and are responsible for more than 400,000 transactions in 2011, representing approximately $125 billion in closed business.
“Thanks to the involvement of several industry icons, such as HomeServices of America Chairman & CEO Ron Peltier, the CEO Exchange will host a great cross section of leading brokers interested in openly discussing how they successfully operate and tackle problems within their respective markets,” Featherston explains. “This event provides brokers with the opportunity to get to know their counterparts from around the country. The brokers who are attending have told us they want to make their companies and their agents more successful. What better way to learn than from a diverse group of successful colleagues?”
In addition to top brokers, leading MLS and Association executives, along with several influential service executives, will also participate in the CEO Exchange. Watch for post-event coverage here at RISMedia.com.
