Atlantic & Pacific Real Estate, LLC recently announced the winners of its Open House Contest held October through November to drive business during what is traditionally considered a slow season for real estate. The successful initiative resulted in approximately 2,000 open house events hosted by Atlantic & Pacific Real Estate agents across the U.S. within an eight-week span.
For every open house held from October through November, an agent received a ticket to enter into a grand prize drawing for $5,000. Agent Cindie Karlzian and her manager, Barbara Simmons of Thousand Oaks, Calif. won the random drawing which took place at the company’s annual Leadership Summit held in Irvine, Calif.
“Some people think open houses don’t work, but I require my agents to hold a minimum of two open houses every week,” Simmons notes. “The reason is simple: open houses help agents make more money. And what agent doesn’t want to make more money?”
As the national leader in the disposition of distressed real estate assets, Atlantic & Pacific Real Estate is able to provide its agents with the fuel they need to drive their business, while also helping them with innovative business strategies to effectively channel that fuel into additional business opportunities.
“This contest demonstrates Atlantic & Pacific Real Estate’s ongoing commitment to help our sales professionals maximize the resources we provide them with, and leverage these assets to create more self-generated business,” said Wendy Forsythe, executive vice president and head of global operations for the company. “We know these types of efforts are working since our agents are some of the most productive in the nation. Given the success of our Open House Contest and the excitement it created, Atlantic & Pacific Real Estate agents are ready to kick off 2013 with a lot of momentum.”
