Ashoo Sharma

Ashoo Sharma is a force of change, embodying the true spirit of a crusader in the real estate industry. She has helped champion groundbreaking policy shifts to achieve impactful consumer protection processes, professional standards, and diversity, equity and inclusion milestones.

Sharma is a consistent presence on the Georgia Commission on the Equal Opportunity advisory board, and an active member of the Metro Atlanta Chamber Racial Equity Group.

Sharma was the leader for the Annual Harry Norman Cares week in 2023, and organized to drive community volunteering and involvement. She performs monthly educational diversity, equity and inclusion content in sales meetings, and raises awareness companywide for multicultural events/occasions/traditions. Sharma also frequently speaks on industry panels for diversity to help others develop compassionate leadership and an inclusivity mindset.

“I am at the stage of my professional life where I have knowledge from failures and successes that can help coach, influence and motivate others,” says Sharma. “The most rewarding part of my career is serving my legacy goal of leaving things better than I found them—the workplace, the industry, the city that I have called home for over four decades and life for people generally.”

Sharma explains that to her, civic leadership “is inspiring and motivating others to do good,” and that is her “why” on doing purposeful work.

“Community focus is a core value at my company and that means, with care, compassion and generosity, we are invested in enriching the communities we serve,” she continues. “It is with that philosophy that I lead by example to serve the Atlanta community, show representation to motivate others, and diversify to have different viewpoints impacting for greater good.”
