Bill Scavone

Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc.

Bill Scavone, president and chief operating officer of Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc., has led the growth of the company by attracting and signing new franchises while helping existing franchise offices succeed with business strategies, technology, tools and programs.

In 2019, the company rolled out a new business assessment tool with a checklist and guide to help brokers identify ways to control costs and focus on activities that will be most effective in growing their businesses, such as recruiting, marketing, retention, listings, buyers, technology and agent accountability. The tool also helps brokers set production goals and track their success.

“Weichert has been—and continues to be—committed to giving its brokers the systems, tools and support to help them build world-class brokerages that are synonymous with exceptional real estate service,” Scavone says. “The rollout of our new assessment and business planning tools is the latest step forward in honoring that commitment, and one that will positively impact their bottom lines.”

Scavone has worked in franchise sales and management for over 25 years. For the past 14 years, he has held various leadership positions at Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, including senior vice president of franchise development. Before joining Weichert in 2005, Scavone served as senior vice president of franchise development for Cendant Corporation, the largest franchising company at the time, with several real estate brands, hotels, car rentals and tax services.
