Brad Bjelke is CEO of UtahRealEstate.com, the largest multiple listing service (MLS) in the state and one of the few with its own in-house technology. The MLS serves almost 16,000 subscribers and approximately 94 percent of Utah’s real estate licensees.
Bjelke hosted the 2019 Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS) Conference and drove the 2019 inaugural CMLS CEO Summit. He currently serves on committees for CMLS, RESO and NAR and is a member of CMLS’ Board of Directors and NAR’s MLS Executive Advisory Board, as well as a past chair of NAR’s MLS Association Executives Committee. Bjelke has also served on the CMLS board, is the 2020 CMLS chair, and was instrumental in the creation and development of MLS Aligned.
An expert in MLS policy, MLS and association regionalization, compliance, data licensing and governance, Bjelke has played an integral role in shaping local and national MLS policies. He is known for championing the relationship between the MLS and brokerage community and for working with brokers to meet the challenges of the ever-changing industry. He frequently speaks at real estate industry events.
Bjelke previously served as vice president and general counsel for California Regional Multiple Listing Service, Inc., the largest MLS in the country. Before taking on that role, he served as executive vice president for one of the largest MLS and real estate technology vendors. Bjelke holds degrees from Boston College Law School and California Lutheran University.
