NextHome offers different opportunities for its members to give back to their communities, learn how to better serve their clients, and protect themselves, and Charis Moreno has helped catapult many of these opportunities.
Last year, under Moreno’s leadership, the company introduced opportunities for members to bring the values and lessons of diversity back to the communities they serve. Through a partnership with the National Association of REALTORS®, the company introduced the At Home with Diversity® (AHWD) certification free of charge to their entire network of real estate professionals.
“Not only is it rewarding to help grow a franchise like NextHome whose mission is to enrich lives by helping people find their next home, but I’m most rewarded by helping professionals succeed in owning their own businesses,” says Moreno. “Entrepreneurship is one of the most challenging career choices, especially in the real estate industry where an owner has to not only balance their clients and team, but also the backend work of providing the best tools and services. Partnering with a franchise like NextHome allows entrepreneurs to have the support they need to successfully own their own business.”
Moreno also regularly speaks at local, regional and national real estate conferences, sits on various industry panels, and hosts webinars to help agents across the industry grow. She taught a REALTOR® ® safety course for all company members as well, gathering and sharing various resources on the topic.
