Corey McCloskey is a third-generation real estate professional whose passion for the business is matched only by her passion for the environment. As vice president of education at John R. Wood Properties, a leading brokerage in Southwest Florida, McCloskey is responsible for the training and education of the company’s more than 650 agents and staff.
At only 40 years old, McCloskey has become a vital force not only in the real estate community, but also in the fight for clean water. She recently received the Citizen of the Year award from the Naples Area Board of REALTORS® (NABOR) for her volunteer work on educating members and the public on how water quality and real estate are interwoven. She was also invited to speak to two industry associations in Maryland on the subject.

2019 marked McCloskey’s 16th year in the real estate business. Six out of those years were spent assisting buyers and sellers find their own slice of paradise, while the other 10 were spent working internally for John R. Wood Properties, giving her a unique perspective in helping her customers, the agents. In her primary role as vice president of education, she is one of the go-to people for agents regarding the company’s extensive technical programs. McCloskey is also slated to be president-elect of NABOR, a 7,000-plus-member association, in 2020.
