Under Courtnie’ Chos leadership, Bright has undertaken the work necessary to originate, develop and launch two joint ventures, REdistribute and Nestfully. Both required new skill sets and talent to succeed. Working in concert with joint venture leadership, Cho quickly developed and executed the overall hiring strategy around both ventures, which placed leaders and associated staff quickly into their respective roles, ready on day one to begin the necessary work. Their quick wins and momentum is due in large part to the strategy and behind the scenes work executed by Cho and her team.
While also working to launch two separate ventures, Cho continued to lead Bright’s people organization throughout the year, working to attract and hire several key members of the leadership team, while and filling and effectively maintaining the necessary pipelines of Bright staff and management.
“The most rewarding aspect of my career is two-fold,” says Cho. “First and foremost is the impact I have on the organization’s success. My work directly contributes to Bright’s performance and growth by ensuring that we have the right individuals in the right positions. Second, and equally significant, is observing the professional and personal development of individuals I’ve either hired or nurtured. Often, I can recognize the potential in others before they do, and witnessing their confidence soar as they acquire new skills and experiences is what fuels my passion for my work.”
