It is the job of every REALTOR® to help people achieve the dream of homeownership. But what about those folks whose dream is just to have a roof over their head? For Dale Taylor, making sure struggling neighbors are cared for is much more than a job. Working with a leading Chicago Southland homelessness advocacy organization called South Suburban PADS, Taylor does more than most, not only serving on the PADS’ board, but stepping out as a volunteer to feed and comfort the most vulnerable, most in-need members of his community. In 2021, Taylor helped plan, package or serve meals to an average of 40+ people a day and helped more than 190 transition to permanent housing.
“Everyone goes through some form of test, trial, or storm in life,” Taylor says, “and I have been called to help people transition from probably one of the worst moments in their lives to recovered stability!”
